The definition of a successful outcome should ALWAYS come from your customer (and as in my case as a speaker, I have more than one customer).  The first question I ask my (potential) client is, &quot;Imagine you are leaving the event, and you say to yourself &quot;That was hands down the best (breakout, keynote or meeting), because (client describes what they learned, how they felt or other evidence of a successful outcome).&quot;  The more detail the better!  Great post, thank you.</description>
